AceShowbiz - Drake has confirmed that his new album, Iceman, will be released in the near future. The announcement came during a moment at the Juno Awards, where he inducted Nelly Furtado into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
During his induction speech, Drake expressed admiration for Nelly Furtado and took the opportunity to tease his upcoming project, saying, "Iceman coming soon."
Drake first hinted at the Iceman album over a year ago, during a concert stop in Australia. At that time, he told fans that when the right moment arrives, he would reconnect with them through a new album described as a "one-on-one conversation."
While on tour alongside PartyNextDoor, Drake revealed the album's title explicitly, sharing with the audience, "I'm working on my album, Iceman. We got a lot to talk about." Since then, he has built anticipation through various teasers.
The Iceman rollout has included a dedicated YouTube series and several singles, such as "Which One" featuring Central Cee, "What Did I Miss," and "Dog House," which features collaborations with Yeat and Julia Fox.
Recently, speculation around the album's release intensified when multiple affiliates associated with Drake updated their social media profile pictures to a shared image of a large diamond.
