AceShowbiz - Today marks the 28th birthday of Jack Harlow, who is celebrating by releasing his latest studio project, Monica. This marks the Louisville rapper’s fourth full-length album, which officially drops on March 13 through Warner Music.
Jack Harlow recorded Monica at the renowned Electric Lady Studios in New York City, a location steeped in musical history. This album follows his relocation from Kentucky to New York, a move that influenced the creation of the new work.
The album includes production from a notable lineup of contributors. Among them are Aksel Arvid, known for working with PinkPantheress; Jermaine Paul, who has credits with Brandy and Alicia Keys; Clay Harlow; Angel "BabeTruth" Lopez, whose credits include Mariah Carey and Coldplay; and Hollywood Cole, who has worked with Lil Wayne, Drake, and 21 Savage. The project also features guest appearances by Robert Glasper, Ravyn Lenae, Omar Apollo, and James Savage, a rising R&B artist from Harlow’s hometown.
Monica arrives as the follow-up to Harlow’s April 2023 album Jackman, which peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, marking his third top-10 album. Additionally, Jackman became his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Rap Albums chart.
After maintaining a relatively low profile musically over much of the past year, Jack Harlow recently released the single "Just Us" featuring Doja Cat in March 2025, setting the stage for this new album.
Harlow’s breakthrough came in 2020 with the hit "Whats Poppin," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned Diamond certification from the RIAA for moving 10 million units in the U.S. He has also topped the national singles chart three times with "First Class" (three weeks in 2022), "Lovin on Me" (six weeks in 2023), and his collaboration with Lil Nas X, "Industry Baby" (one week in 2021).
Monica consists of nine tracks and is available to stream in full starting today, offering fans fresh material from one of hip-hop’s prominent voices.
