- March 16, 2026
AceShowbiz - Alex Warren, the California singer-songwriter, is set to return to Australia and New Zealand with a seven-date arena tour in August and September 2026. This upcoming run comes less than a year after his previous sold-out eight-show visit in the region.
The tour will begin on August 21 at Wolfbrook Arena in Christchurch, New Zealand. Following that, Alex Warren will perform at Spark Arena in Auckland before moving to Australia, where he will appear at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, and finally Perth Arena on September 12.
Tickets for the general public will be available starting Friday, March 20 at 11 a.m. local time across all venues. Fans are expected to flock to these shows following Alex Warren's impressive previous performances.
This tour announcement comes after a challenging moment for Alex Warren on the international stage at the 2026 Grammy Awards. Nominated for Best New Artist, his in-ear monitors malfunctioned 30 seconds before he was scheduled to perform, just as the band Katseye finished their set. Despite this technical issue, he went ahead with the performance.
Speaking about the incident on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Alex Warren described the experience as "horrifying." He explained that the week had been filled with rehearsals and everything was perfect until the unexpected failure happened. To this day, he remains uncertain about the exact cause of the problem.
The tour will support Alex Warren's debut album, You'll Be Alright, Kid, which features the global hit single "Ordinary." The song achieved remarkable success, dominating the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 10 weeks. It is one of only 47 songs in the chart's 67-year history to maintain the number one position for double-digit weeks.
"Ordinary" was also crowned Billboard's Song of the Summer for 2025, holding the top spot throughout the entire 14-week tracking period. On the Pop Airplay chart, the track set a record for the longest-running number one, staying at the summit for 15 weeks.
In Australia, the single is tied for the second-longest-running number one in the history of the ARIA charts, having spent 17 consecutive weeks at number one during 2025. This continued success has significantly raised Alex Warren's profile in the Australian and New Zealand markets ahead of this major arena tour.
Alex Warren’s 2026 Australia and New Zealand tour dates are as follows:
Aug. 21 - Christchurch, Wolfbrook Arena
Aug. 24 - Auckland, Spark Arena
Aug. 28 - Sydney, Qudos Bank Arena

Sept. 4 - Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena

Fans eager to see the artist live again are encouraged to secure tickets early as demand is expected to be high given his recent chart-topping success and popularity in the region.
