AceShowbiz - The Academy Awards executive team has revealed new additions to the presenter roster for the upcoming ceremony. Raj Kapoor, executive producer and showrunner, alongside executive producer Katy Mullan, announced on Thursday that Will Arnett, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Robert Downey Jr., Anne Hathaway, Paul Mescal and Gwyneth Paltrow will all present at the 98th Oscars.
This fresh group joins a previously disclosed lineup including stars like Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Maya Rudolph, and Zoe Saldaña. Together, they promise a star-studded evening of award presentations.
Paul Mescal has earned critical acclaim with nominations from the Actor, Critics Choice, and BAFTA Awards for his supporting role in Hamnet. The film itself has secured eight Oscar nominations, including best picture, best director, and best actress for Jessie Buckley. Meanwhile, Gwyneth Paltrow stars in Marty Supreme, which has received nine nominations. Both films are contenders in the new Oscar category for best casting.
The ceremony will be hosted by Conan O'Brien for the second consecutive year and will be broadcast live on ABC and Hulu. The event is scheduled to take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 15, beginning at 4 p.m. PT.
This year's Oscar nominations are led by Ryan Coogler's Sinners with a record-breaking 16 nods, including best picture and best director. Following closely is Paul Thomas Anderson's One Battle After Another, which has garnered 13 nominations.
