AceShowbiz - Anderson .Paak’s divorce case is gaining momentum as his estranged wife has filed new legal documents requesting spousal support and primary physical custody of their two children.
According to court records obtained by TMZ, Jae Lin, the musician’s estranged wife, submitted paperwork in Los Angeles earlier this week. She is asking for joint legal custody of their children, aged 9 and 13, but wants to have primary physical custody while granting Anderson secondary physical custody and visitation rights.
In addition to custody requests, Jae is also seeking spousal support and has asked the court to prevent Anderson .Paak from receiving any spousal support in return. Both parties cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for ending their marriage, which began in November 2010, just weeks before the birth of their oldest child.
The documents list the separation date as "TBD," a detail that matches the information Anderson .Paak provided when he filed for divorce earlier this year in 2024. Up until now, the divorce proceedings had been relatively stagnant, with no significant updates in court.
This recent legal activity coincides with rumors linking Anderson .Paak romantically to television personality Jeannie Mai. TMZ reported sightings of Jeannie Mai entering Anderson’s jazz speakeasy restaurant and bar, Andy’s, in Hollywood two weeks ago. Although she remained silent about the speculation, the pair appeared close inside the venue.
Earlier, they were seen cuddling at Andy’s, fueling further speculation about their relationship. Despite the ongoing rumors, both seem intent on keeping their connection private as the divorce case moves forward.
