AceShowbiz - PinkPantheress has been honored as the BRIT Awards' 2026 Producer of the Year, making history as both the youngest artist and first woman to receive this prestigious accolade.
In a statement, Stacey Tang, chair of the 2026 BRIT Awards Committee and co-president of RCA Records UK, praised PinkPantheress as "an inventive and instinctive voice in British pop." Tang emphasized her precise and playful production style, noting how she creates bold, boundary-pushing sounds that extend beyond the UK. She is quietly reshaping modern pop and paving the way for a new generation of female producers. Tang described this recognition as both timely and significant.
The 2026 BRIT Awards ceremony will be broadcast live from Manchester's Co-op Live Arena on Saturday, February 28, starting at 1 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. GMT. This year’s lineup includes performances from Harry Styles, Rosalía, and Olivia Dean, among others.
Last year, PinkPantheress released her mixtape Fancy That alongside its remix project, Fancy Some More?. The impact of her music reached beyond traditional audiences when gold medal figure skater Alysa Liu, a notable fan, debuted a new routine set to the remix of "Stateside" featuring Zara Larsson during the 2026 Olympic Exhibition Gala.
PinkPantheress’s mixtape Fancy That was also recognized critically, ranking at No. 10 in The 30 Best Pop Albums of 2025.
