AceShowbiz - Demi Moore was a strong contender for an Oscar last year for her role in The Substance, but the award ultimately went to Mikey Madison for Anora. Both women will return to the Oscars in 2026, this time taking on the less stressful role of presenters.
Joining Moore as presenters will be Maya Rudolph, a film and television star known also as the daughter of the late Minnie Riperton, who famously topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1975 with “Lovin’ You.” Additionally, Chase Infiniti, who appears in One Battle After Another, will present.
Other presenters announced on Thursday include Javier Bardem, Chris Evans, and Kumail Nanjiani. Previously confirmed presenters are last year’s Oscar winners for best actor (Adrien Brody), best supporting actor (Kieran Culkin), and best supporting actress (Zoe Saldaña).
Producers will continue to reveal additional talent participating in the ceremony in the coming weeks.
The 98th Academy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 15, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The event will be broadcast live on ABC and streamed on Hulu starting at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. Conan O’Brien will return as host for the second consecutive year. The official live red carpet coverage will begin at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
Executive producers for the show are Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan, with Kapoor also serving as showrunner.
