AceShowbiz - Music Venue Trust has partnered with The National Lottery to launch Everywhere At Once, set to become the UK’s biggest festival happening right on people’s doorsteps.
This innovative festival is scheduled to take place from June 26 to June 28, coinciding with what would have been the Glastonbury weekend in 2026, which is observing a fallow year. Unlike traditional festivals that gather crowds at a single site, Everywhere At Once will span hundreds of grassroots music venues nationwide, creating a decentralized celebration of live music.
From Inverness in the north to Penzance in the south, venues across the country will host a diverse lineup of artists, including well-known names and emerging talent. The initiative aims to reconnect audiences with local grassroots music spaces, foster community spirit, and provide a platform for discovering new artists.
The project is driven by Music Venue Trust, Save Our Scene, and the Association of Independent Promoters. The National Lottery’s continued backing highlights its commitment to supporting the grassroots music sector. The collaboration between Music Venue Trust and The National Lottery began in 2021 to help revive live music in the aftermath of the pandemic.
Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, described the event as a “hugely significant moment for the grassroots music sector.” He emphasized that the gathering of hundreds of venues over one weekend demonstrates the extensive network supporting live music across the UK.
“Thanks to the support from The National Lottery, Everywhere At Once can pair visibility with meaningful, practical support, putting real investment directly into venues while amplifying their collective voice,” Davyd added.
He further explained that the festival sends a powerful message that live music thrives beyond major cities and large festival fields, taking place in high streets, towns, and community spaces. This collective effort to unite venues highlights the solidarity within the music scene and sets a benchmark for future collaboration.
Alastair Ruxton, Chief Impact Officer at Allwyn and operator of The National Lottery, expressed his support for the festival’s goals.
“The essential role grassroots music venues and promoters play in supporting new talent will be highlighted through this festival,” Ruxton said.
The weekend-long festival promises to be a landmark event in the UK music calendar, encouraging people to explore local venues, support live music, and celebrate the vibrant grassroots scene nationwide. By celebrating music across hundreds of venues, Everywhere At Once aims to strengthen communities and fuel the live music industry’s recovery and growth.
