AceShowbiz - Gary Numan has revealed plans for a major live performance at London’s iconic Crystal Palace Park this summer.

The show will be part of a brand-new festival series called Palace Bowl Presents, hosted at the historic Crystal Palace Bowl. Running from July 30 to August 16, the festival will feature 12 live events during its inaugural 2026 season.

is set to headline on Sunday, August 6, performing a selection of his classic hits including fan favorites like ‘Cars’ and ‘M.E.’. The evening will also showcase performances from Marc Almond, known for his work with Soft Cell and his solo career, alongside the electronic band Ladytron.

Tickets for the event will be released on Friday, February 20, with a pre-sale starting Thursday, February 19. Residents living in the SE19, SE20, and SE26 postcode areas will have access to discounted tickets for the Palace Bowl Presents series.

This latest announcement adds Numan to an expanding lineup of artists confirmed for the new festival. Previously announced headliners include Bastille and The Wombats, who will co-headline the event on Thursday, August 13.

Before that, the venue will host the first-ever Gospel Garden Festival on Sunday, August 2. This event promises to be London’s largest outdoor gospel music festival, featuring UK-exclusive performances from Kirk Franklin and Tasha Cobbs Leonard, with support from Fred Hammond, Mercy Chinwo, and Jerub.

For Numan, the upcoming show follows the conclusion of his 45th anniversary tour celebrating his landmark album Telekon, which began late last year. The tour was marked by an emotional moment when the artist became overwhelmed during a performance and received comfort from his wife, Gemma O’Neill.

Numan later revealed on social media that he had received devastating news that day: the sudden passing of his brother, John Webb. In a heartfelt message to fans, he explained that he was struggling to find the words to properly honor his loved one, describing the post as “not a tribute” due to the depth of his grief.

The upcoming Crystal Palace Park event is expected to be a significant highlight of the summer music calendar, offering fans a chance to experience Gary Numan live alongside other notable acts in a unique outdoor setting.
