AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has claimed the top position on the U.K. Singles Chart dated February 13 with her latest single, “Opalite,” from her album The Life of a Showgirl.
This achievement marks the second chart-topping track from the album, following “The Fate of Ophelia,” which held the No. 1 spot for seven weeks—her longest run on the Official Singles Chart to date.
“Opalite” climbed an impressive 14 places in just one week, becoming Swift’s sixth No. 1 single in the U.K. throughout her career. Her previous U.K. chart-toppers include “Look What You Made Me Do” (2017), “Anti-Hero” (2022), “Is It Over Now? (Taylor’s Version)” (2023), “Fortnight” (2024), and “The Fate of Ophelia” (2025).
The rise to No. 1 follows the release of a visually captivating music video for “Opalite,” featuring notable cameos from celebrities such as Lewis Capaldi, Greta Lee, Graham Norton, Cillian Murphy, and Domhnall Gleeson. These stars previously appeared alongside Swift on The Graham Norton Show during the album’s promotional campaign and inspired their inclusion in the video.
Close behind at No. 2 is the collaboration “Raindance” by Dave and Tems, which has already enjoyed two non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 and made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100.
RAYE’s hit single “Where Is My Husband!” remains steady at No. 3 for its seventh week in the top five, building momentum ahead of her upcoming UK arena tour, which launches February 17 at Manchester’s Co-op Live Arena.
Bad Bunny, fresh off his Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, sees his track “DtMF” soar 39 spots to No. 4—his highest U.K. chart position to date. Additional singles “Nuevayol” and “Baile Inolvidable” also chart at No. 15 and No. 20, respectively, while his album Debí Tirar Más Fotos makes its debut in the U.K. Albums Chart top five.
Rounding out the top five is Sam Fender’s “Rein Me In,” which matches its previous peak, boosted by guest vocals from Olivia Dean.
Taylor Swift’s continued success with Opalite solidifies her status as a dominant force in the music industry and highlights the strong connection she maintains with her audience worldwide.
