AceShowbiz - The White Lotus has added two new cast members for its highly anticipated fourth season. Actors Steve Coogan and Caleb Jonte Edwards will be appearing in the series, which is set to film in the picturesque landscapes of France. As is typical with The White Lotus, details about their specific roles remain under wraps, with series creator Mike White currently in the writing phase.
With the addition of Coogan and Edwards, they become the third and fourth cast members announced for this season, joining previously revealed actors Alexander Ludwig and AJ Michalka.
Steve Coogan is widely recognized for his iconic portrayal of the bumbling British television presenter, Alan Partridge, a character he has developed over several decades. His accolades include two Academy Award nominations for his work as a writer and producer on the film Philomena. Coogan's extensive body of work also features the acclaimed The Trip film series alongside Rob Brydon, the political satire In the Loop, and notable voice roles in the Despicable Me franchise.
Caleb Jonte Edwards, on the other hand, is a rising talent in the entertainment industry. He made his mark with a role in the Australian drama series Black Snow and has also appeared in a short film titled The Man and the Woman.
In November, HBO confirmed that the fourth season of The White Lotus would take place in France, with the stunning Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez serving as the main filming location. Additional shooting locations across various regions of France are also anticipated.
Mike White not only writes and directs The White Lotus, but he also serves as an executive producer, collaborating with David Bernad and Mark Kamine on the project.
As for representation, Steve Coogan is managed by CAA and Independent Talent Group, while Caleb Jonte Edwards is represented by Echo Lake Entertainment and Eaton Management.
