Granted a straight-to-series order, the project centers on an escaped convict taking hostages to bargain for freedom. The standoff quickly escalates into an unmanageable social experiment with his captives, and an emotional poker match with an FBI Crisis Negotiator trained in 'tactical empathy,' per the official synopsis.
Peter Craig (Dope Thief) will serve as creator and showrunner for Rabbit, Rabbit. Adam Driver first gained prominence as Adam in Lena Dunham's HBO comedy Girls, before launching a successful film career, including the latest Star Wars trilogy and two Academy Award nominations.
In other notable casting news, Netflix's The Four Seasons has added Steven Pasquale (Rescue Me) to its Season 2 cast in a recurring role as Mark Brett, who meets the gang at the Jersey shore.
