AceShowbiz - The Beverly Hills estate that Jessica Alba once called the "dream house" is now on the market for $18,995,000. The listing comes just months after the actress filed for divorce from her husband, Cash Warren, in February.
Spanning over 1.85 acres, the sprawling estate boasts seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and a plethora of luxurious amenities. Initially purchased in 2017 for $10 million, the couple undertook an extensive 18-month renovation to transform the house into the perfect family home.
Alba has spoken fondly about their renovation journey, which was partially inspired by the homes of her famous friends like Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. They shared a clear vision of creating a space to "watch [their] kids play and grow up," she said in a 2019 Architectural Digest interview.
The spacious estate features breathtaking ocean and canyon views and includes highlights such as a home gym, media room, spa-like bathrooms, and a luxurious primary suite with a separate sitting area and balcony. The property also has a beautiful backyard with a pool, cabana, and outdoor dining area, perfect for entertaining.
The sale of the house marks the end of an era for Alba and Warren, who share three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7. Despite their separation, the family has made efforts to maintain a sense of unity, reuniting to celebrate Easter earlier this month.
Alba cited irreconcilable differences as the reason behind her divorce filing and list December 27 as separation date. Alba has also requested joint custody of their children and the restoration of her legal name to Jessica Marie Alba.
