Despite Mark signing off the announcement with both their names, Aubrey made it clear that it was not a joint statement. "Because this was never a conversation or discussion. He got caught out with women and had to cover his tracks to maintain his 'public image.' I had no part in this statement and it's news to me, as it is to everyone else," she claimed.

The Instagram comment section was lit up with numerous thoughts from fans. One alleged Mark had "decided to abandon" his family to live a "party lifestyle," to which Aubrey replied, "Idk who you are, but thank you for it."

He explained that his decision to leave was due to a desire for a more peaceful and aligned environment, particularly for their two sons, Ace, who was born in April 2021, and Axton, born in early 2022.

He claimed his marriage to Aubrey "wasn't aligned with the peace and partnership he wants to raise his sons in -- and his focus RN is on being a consistent, integral father."

"I'm not here to argue timelines or opinions," he told the outlet. "I'm focused on peace, parenting, and protecting what matters most. The boys are the most important thing right now."

Cuevas reiterated his stance in a statement shared with PEOPLE, emphasizing that the split has been "a deeply personal and difficult transition," and his focus remains on being a present and loving father. "I'm doing my best to handle it with grace, and I hope others allow space for healing too," he concluded.
