AceShowbiz - Lil Nas X hypes up his upcoming "Dreamboy" project with two new song releases. The first one, "Dreamboy," was unleashed Sunday night, March 9 while the second, "Hotbox," is due later this week on Friday, March 14.
On "Dreamboy," Lil Nas X talks about his newfound confidence to go after his dream. "I was scared then /I ain't scared now /I wasn't ready then /But I'm ready now," he raps. "Yeah, I'm on the way /I'm on the rise /On the way, yeah I'm on the rise /Mind your own business /I'm minding mine.â€
He then delivers the chorus that is both uplifting and resonant, encouraging listeners to "dream on" even when "it all gets rough."
Lil Nas X teased the song hours before its release. "Good evening, everybody," he said. "I would like for you to grab a glass of wine and let me talk to you for a minute," before rapping a snippet of the track.
No word yet on when "Dreamboy" the album will arrive in full. The record is a follow-up to his hit 2021 debut album, "Montero". In the meantime, enjoy his empowering title track and look forward to his second offering "Hotbox".
