Popular singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams has to cancel additional shows on her highly-anticipated U.K. and European tour due to a battle with persistent illness.

AceShowbiz - Gracie Abrams has postponed two more shows on her U.K. and European tour as she continues to battle an unspecified illness. The affected performances were scheduled for March 3 in Nottingham, England, and March 4 in Leeds.
Abrams broke the disappointing news to her fans through a heartfelt handwritten note shared on her Instagram Stories, saying, "I hate that I have to write this again so soon. Unfortunately, I am really still struggling with this illness and have been advised that I cannot perform these next two nights."
The recent cancellations follow closely on the heels of another canceled gig in Brussels, Belgium, on February 28. Speaking on that occasion, Abrams expressed that her body had been "fighting off something gnarly for the past week, and despite doing everything in my power to keep it contained, it has gotten to a point where all medical advice I've received says I cannot perform and need to rest."
In the days leading up to the Brussels concert, Abrams had been actively performing across Europe with shows in Zurich on February 24, Assago, Italy on February 25, and Paris on February 27.
As it stands, Abrams is slated to return to the stage on March 6 at the O2 in London. In her Instagram note, she expressed profound regret and noted, "I can't tell you how much this breaks my heart."
"This tour is something I've been dreaming of since the album came out and the shows we've played so far have meant more to me than I can tell you. The moment we have any concrete details about these two shows in your cities, we will be in touch. Please know I'd give anything to be able to be with you. Thank you for understanding. I'm sending all my love and my deepest regrets."
Gracie Abrams has been touring in support of her second album, "The Secret of Us", which was released last June and secured a top spot on the Billboard 200 chart. After concluding the European leg, the tour will proceed to Asia, New Zealand, and Australia, followed by a North American run starting on July 23 in Boston and concluding on August 27 in Mexico City.
According to her latest updates, Abrams will also be performing at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music Awards later this month, where she will receive the Songwriter of the Year accolade. She will join fellow honorees such as aespa, GloRilla, and Tyla in performing at the event.
