On Thursday, February 27, Brown, 21, shared a screenshot of a British Vogue story titled, "No One Cares How Old You Think Millie Bobby Brown Looks," to her Instagram Story along with a simple "thank you" message.

This came after waves of social media commentary following her appearance with husband Jake at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, "The Electric State," on February 24.

During the premiere, Brown showcased her new platinum blonde hair, styled in a sleek updo with bangs. She wore an Annie's Ibiza metallic gold and bronze striped embroidered gown with a structured corset top and flowing train, accessorized with a matching bolero jacket, gold choker, and simple diamond earrings from De Beers.

However, her new look sparked mixed reactions online. "Why this makeup and this blonde hair? You're so cute in your natural version! In the actual pic you're a 40 year old woman," commented one user, while another remarked, "She looks 45 pretending to be 22."

Despite the scrutiny, many fans supported her, likening her to famous blondes such as Pamela Anderson and Britney Spears and mentioning her recent remarks about her interest in playing Spears in a potential biopic.

In January, the "Stranger Things" actress also responded to similar comments. Unapologetic about her look, she wrote on Instagram Story, "Women grow!! Not sorry about it :)"

Aside from defending her new look, Brown addressed a photographer who referred to her husband as her "boyfriend" at the premiere, firmly correcting them to acknowledge their marital status.

The couple, who tied the knot in May 2024, have been together since 2023, first meeting on Instagram and rapidly developing a close relationship.
