AceShowbiz - Lisa Vanderpump, 64, has made it clear that she has no plans to return to "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" that propelled her to stardom. She left the franchise after season 9, and despite persistent speculation, she ruled out any chance of rejoining the show.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the star who produced her own Bravo show "Vanderpump Rules" emphasized that she's not close to the current cast, with the exception of Garcelle Beauvais. She also revealed that there're "a couple" cast members she disliked.
She doubled down on her aversion to returning to the franchise in another interview with TMZ, "Oh look, there's a pig flying to the moon!" she said while looking up at the sky. "There's more of a chance at that [than me returning to RHOBH]."
In addition to her strained relationships with the "RHOBH" cast, Vanderpump's decision not to return is also driven by her busy schedule. She is currently involved in several projects, including running her two "RHOBH" spin-offs, "Vanderpump Rules" and "Vanderpump Villa," as well as launching new restaurants.
Vanderpump's departure from "RHOBH" was marked by a major falling out with Dorit Kemsley in 2019, known as "#PuppyGate." The drama also affected her friendship with Kyle Richards and the rest of the cast.
Bravo host Andy Cohen has also addressed the rumors of Vanderpump's return, expressing his admiration for her but doubting that she would come back to the show. He cited her lack of close connections to the current cast as a significant factor.
Meanwhile, Vanderpump is excited about the upcoming season 12 of "Vanderpump Rules," which will feature a new cast of SUR-vers. She promised a "great season" with plenty of drama.
