Celebrating exceptional achievements in film and television, the Producers Guild of America Awards announced winners and once again set the stage for the upcoming Academy Awards.

AceShowbiz - The 2025 PGA Awards took place on Saturday, February 8 serving as an indicator of potential Oscar winners. "Anora" triumphed with the evening's top film prize, mirroring its DGA and Critics Choice wins. DreamWorks' "The Wild Robot" won the animated film award while "Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story" claimed the documentary motion picture prize.
In the television category, HBO/Max's "Hacks" won for episodic comedy and Netflix's "Baby Reindeer" received the award for limited series. Other TV winners included "Saturday Night Live" for live entertainment and "The Traitors" for game competitions.
The PGA Awards have a strong track record of predicting Oscar nominees, particularly in the best picture category. This year, eight of the ten PGA film nominees also received Best Picture Oscar nods, continuing the trend since the Academy expanded its lineup to ten nominees in 2009.
The evening was marked by calls to move film and television production back to Los Angeles to help rebuild the city following the catastrophic wildfires.
