AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson offered insights into his dating style during a sit-down with Drew Barrymore. Known for his relationships with high-profile women like Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande, he revealed a surprising detail about his approach to romance.
When asked about whether women should make the first move, the "Saturday Night Live" comic offered an unexpected response, "I'm the girl, I think, whenever I'm in a relationship. So, some guys are shy and like when a lady's like, 'Hey,' you know?"
He further explained that he grew up surrounded by women, which contributed to his more "feminine" demeanor in relationships, adding, "I do [like assertiveness from women]. Because I grew up all ladies in the house, so I act pretty feminine."
Despite his history of dating famous women, Davidson wants to be recognized for his professional work rather than his romantic entanglements. In a December 2024 interview with W magazine, he stated, "I just want to be known for doing good work."
"I want to be out there only when it's [a] movie, stand-up, charity, or business ventures. That's when I want to be seen. I don't want to be this f***ing loser who just dates people. That's not who I am."
After leaving "SNL", Pete Davidson ventured into acting and embarked on a journey to get his tattoos removed as part of his career pivot. On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," he elaborated on the painful procedure, "They've got to burn off a layer of your skin, and then it has to heal for, like, six to eight weeks. And you can't get in the sunlight, and you've got to do it, like, 12 more times."
Reports suggest Davidson has spent a considerable sum, around $200,000, on this process. He confirmed his acting career as the motivation for removing his tattoos, telling Seth Meyers in 2021 that he wanted to expand his acting opportunities, noting that covering his tattoos for film roles took up to three hours.
In addition to tattoo removal, Pete Davidson has also embraced sobriety. A source claims he has gained twenty pounds since ditching booze and has been doing "really well."
