Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's home was destroyed in the Palisades Fire, and Pratt reached out to Taylor Swift for support, hoping for the pop star to respond.

AceShowbiz - Spencer Pratt, former star of "The Hills," reached out to Taylor Swift after his and wife Heidi Montag's home burned down in the Palisades Fire earlier this month. Pratt revealed on the "Viall Files" podcast that he sent Swift an email "right away," hoping for a response.

Pratt acknowledged that even if he doesn't receive a response from Swift, it could be considered a response in itself. "This is the email. This one is getting read. If you don't get a response, that's also a response," Pratt said.

He expressed hope that Swift may have "something in the works" involving Montag. "I think she's just gonna have Heidi be involved in the 'Rep[utation]' announcement somehow. Like, an Easter egg for everyone or something," he said. "I still haven't given up. That was a big one night one. I was like, 'House just burned down, Taylor. I need you!' "

Noting that he has also contacted other music industry stars to promote Montag's songs, he joked, "Taylor, email [me] back. I lost all the gifts you sent me."

The fire destroyed Pratt and Montag's home, as well as his parents' home in the same neighborhood. Pratt shared updates on their family's recovery via TikTok, where they have raised nearly $25,000 and received $100,000 in direct fan donations.

Swift addressed the fire on January 16, donating an undisclosed amount to multiple charities. She urged her followers to support organizations helping communities rebuild. Other celebrities who lost homes in the fire include Miles Teller, Keleigh Sperry, Mel Gibson, Paris Hilton, Leighton Meester, and Adam Brody.
