AceShowbiz - Reality TV personality Chase Chrisley, 28, has been arrested following an incident at the Twin Peaks Sports Bar in Atlanta, Georgia. Chrisley was taken into custody on January 9, based on allegations of simple battery.
Chrisley was subsequently released on a $10,000 bond. According to multiple sources, the altercation occurred on January 6 when he reportedly got extremely inebriated and acted belligerently towards the bar staff.
The bar manager, Brandon Nash, was the individual who allegedly got slapped twice by Chrisley after asking him to leave numerous times. Upon the police's arrival, Chrisley had already left the scene. Audio from Nash's 911 call confirms his claims of aggression and assault although he declined medical attention as he had no visible injuries.
Chase's legal team, consisting of Drew Findling, Marissa Goldberg, and Zack Findling, asserts that "this incident has been entirely blown out of proportion." To emphasize their stance, they labeled the accusations as grossly exaggerated.
In a statement to PEOPLE, they said, "Chase Chrisley had done the right thing that evening by calling a driver to take him home. He did not assault anyone. Chase was trying to close out his tab and leave. We will be independently investigating the situation."
This altercation adds a new chapter to the Chrisley family's ongoing legal ordeals. Chase's eldest brother, Kyle, has previously faced multiple arrests, the latest being in September 2024 for aggravated assault and resisting arrest.
The family patriarch and matriarch, Todd and Julie Chrisley, are serving extensive prison sentences for bank fraud and tax evasion, with release dates set for March 2028 and May 2032, respectively.
Amidst this turmoil, Chase also went through a public breakup with his ex-fiancee, Emily Medders, in July 2023, less than a year after their engagement. He is currently dating Jodi Laine Fournerat. Adding to his emotional rollercoaster, Chase mourned the loss of his French bulldog, Lilo, in December 2024, describing the pet as his savior during difficult times.
As the younger Chrisleys navigate these challenges, sister Savannah has taken on a significant role in caring for their younger siblings, Chloe and Grayson, and managing her parents' legal affairs. "Me and Chase show up for them every single day," Savannah told PEOPLE in October 2023, emphasizing her commitment to her family's well-being.
The Chrisley saga continues to unfold, captivating those who followed them from their reality TV days to their current legal dramas. As Chase's legal team prepares to investigate the bar incident further, fans and critics alike await the next development in this ongoing saga.
