AceShowbiz - Internet trolls don't show mercy on Kim Kardashian despite the Christmas spirit. "The Kardashians" star was under fire after she shared a TikTok video featuring her and daughter North West while attending their family's low-key Christmas Eve party on Tuesday, December 24.

In the TikTok clip, the mom and daughter duo could be seen happily dancing to Ariana Grande's "Santa Tell Me" next to a fireplace. For the intimate gathering, Kim opted to wear a snake-printed turtleneck dress. She completed her look with a pair of shoes with matching patterns.

As for North, the 11-year-old rocked a white strapless, corset top underneath a cropped blazer. The teen, whom Kim shares with ex-husband Kanye West, paired the look with a tiny black ruffled miniskirt, black stockings and knee-high boots. She elevated her style with a Vivienne Westwood necklace and glamorous makeup look.

While the two had fun at the soiree, some Internet users were not happy with North's choice of style. "Why is this child wearing a bustier/corset?" one asked in a Reddit post. Another said, "I'm not prude but I wouldn't let my 11-year-old wear a damn corset."

"Maybe it's just anecdotal but when I was 11 I was still a child wearing modest clothing!" someone added. Another critic commented, "An 11-year-old shouldn't be wearing a bustier/corset and showing cleavage on the internet."

Despite the backlash, some others came to Kim and North's defense. Suggesting that it might be North's own choice to wear the outfit, someone said, "I don't think North would wear anything she wouldn't wanna wear, and she loves fashion and gets it."

Echoing the sentiment, one other pointed out, "Her father, mother, aunts - they are fashion designers who work with the top fashion designers. It's unrealistic to think she'd be wearing 'normal 11 year old' attire all the time."
