Despite their ongoing divorce, Ben Affleck put extra thought into the holiday gift he bought for estranged wife Jennifer Lopez as the pair keep an amicable relationship.

AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck, 52, made sure to put careful consideration into his Christmas gift for Jennifer Lopez, 55, this year amidst their ongoing divorce. The "Justice League" star purchased an autographed Marlon Brando book for the singer/actress, according to Page Six.
Mystery Pier Books owner Louis Jason shared that Affleck bought "a few books" from his West Hollywood, California store.
The Oscar winner picked out the meaningful gift before meeting Lopez for lunch at the exclusive Soho House. According to sources, Lopez is an avid Marlon Brando fan, and her Super Bowl bodysuit was inspired by the legendary actor.
"Ben gifted Jennifer with the book because she's a fan," a source told Page Six. The sources also mentioned that while most of the gifts were for their children, Affleck and Lopez exchanged a few small presents between themselves as a gesture to celebrate the holidays.
"It was nothing over the top, but more so a gesture to celebrate the holidays. Ben and Jennifer have remained amicable despite the ongoing divorce proceedings," added the insider. Their efforts to keep things friendly are evident in their interactions and the way they've chosen to remain connected, especially when it involves their kids.
The couple, who first began dating in 2002 after working together on the movie "Gigli," got engaged in November of the same year but called it quits in January 2004. They rekindled their romance in early 2021, got engaged again in April 2022, and held a wedding ceremony in Georgia after eloping in Las Vegas in July 2022. However, Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August, on the second anniversary of their Georgian wedding ceremony.
Affleck was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2015 and shares three children with her: Violet, 19, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12. J.Lo, meanwhile, was married to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014, and they share 16-year-old twins Max and Emme. Before getting back together with Affleck, she was engaged to Alex Rodriguez.
Despite no longer being romantically involved, Ben and Jennifer keep amiable relationship for the sake of their blended families since their kids have grown close to each other since their wedding.
