AceShowbiz - Stray Kids ties BTS (Bangtan Boys) as K-Pop act with the most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 chart. The South Korean boy band's first mixtape titled "HOP" makes its debut on top of the tally.

In the chart dated December 28, the music group's record, which was released on December 13, becomes their sixth album that enters No. 1 on the chart. It makes them "the first act to debut at No. 1 with its first six chart entries in the nearly 69-year history of the chart." They tie BTS, Linkin Park and Dave Matthews Band "for the most No. 1s among groups on the list" since 2000.

Billboard reports that the set earns 187,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending December 19, according to Luminate. The album sales comprise 176,000, debuting at No. 1 on Top Album Sales. The album's SEA units comprise 10,000 or equaling 14.83 million on-demand official streams of the set's songs. Meanwhile, TEA units comprise 1,000.

As for Kendrick Lamar's "GNX", it remains steady at No. 2 after earning 100,000 equivalent album units. Taylor Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department" is pushed down to No. 3 from No. 1 as it earns 85,000 equivalent album units. In contrast, Sabrina Carpenter's "Short n' Sweet" slightly ascends to No. 4 from No. 5 with 69,000 equivalent album units earned.

Similarly, Michael Buble's "Christmas" flies to No. 5 from No. 7 after earning 68,000 equivalent album units. Bing Crosby's "Ultimate Christmas" reaches a new peak at No. 6 from No. 8 as it earns 65,000 equivalent album units. On the other hand, the "Wicked" film soundtrack drops to No. 7 from No. 6 with nearly 65,000 equivalent album units earned.

Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard and Soft" climbs to No. 8 from No. 9 after earning 62,000 equivalent album units. Furthermore, Chappell Roan's "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" rises to No. 9 from No. 11 as it earns 56,000 equivalent album units. Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas" jumps to No. 10 from No. 14 with 56,000 equivalent album units earned.
