AceShowbiz - Robyn Lively, 52, took to Instagram to show her support for her younger sister, Blake Lively, 37, following the latter's lawsuit against "It Ends With Us" co-star Justin Baldoni, 40.
On Saturday, December 21, Robyn posted a collage of screenshots from a New York Times article on her Instagram Stories, writing, "FINALLY justice for my sister." She also shared a link to the same article, tagging Blake's Instagram handle.
Blake's complaint alleges that Baldoni engaged in misconduct on the set of their movie "It Ends with Us," resulting in a meeting where producers addressed her concerns about his behavior and that of lead producer Jamey Heath.
According to the complaint, Baldoni and his production company agreed to certain stipulations. However, Blake alleges that Baldoni subsequently launched a retaliatory smear campaign against her.
Blake's complaint includes private texts and emails suggesting that Baldoni's crisis PR representatives planned to discredit her accusations by spreading rumors and changing the narrative around her.
Bryan Freedman, Baldoni's lawyer, has denied the allegations, calling them "false, outrageous, and intentionally salacious." He claimed that Blake caused problems during filming and threatened to boycott the film's release.
Meanwhile, Blake said in a statement to the New York Times, "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted."
Robyn Lively's support for her sister highlights the importance of family bonds and solidarity in the face of adversity.
