AceShowbiz - Just like its predecessors, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" sets the stage for a fourth installment with a surprise cameo at the end. [SPOILER ALERT!] After defeating Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his grandfather Gerald, Sonic embarks on a race with Tails and Knuckles, only to encounter a squad of Metal Sonic robots.

Luckily, Sonic is rescued by the fan-favorite Amy Rose, who wields a giant hammer and has long been portrayed as Sonic's love interest. While Shadow and the Robotniks seemingly perish in the final battle, a post-credits scene reveals that Shadow survived and vows to return.

The film also includes references to "Sonic Adventure 2", such as the inclusion of the theme song "Live and Learn" during Super Sonic and Super Shadow's fight against the Eclipse Cannon.
