AceShowbiz - Just like its predecessors, "Sonic the Hedgehog 3" sets the stage for a fourth installment with a surprise cameo at the end. [SPOILER ALERT!] After defeating Dr. Ivo Robotnik and his grandfather Gerald, Sonic embarks on a race with Tails and Knuckles, only to encounter a squad of Metal Sonic robots.
Luckily, Sonic is rescued by the fan-favorite Amy Rose, who wields a giant hammer and has long been portrayed as Sonic's love interest. While Shadow and the Robotniks seemingly perish in the final battle, a post-credits scene reveals that Shadow survived and vows to return.
