Its domestic earnings of $344 million and international revenue of $379 million have propelled it to the fourth-highest-grossing movie worldwide in 2024, fifth-highest domestically, and eighth-highest internationally.
The Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson-led sequel not only ranks among the top 50 highest-grossing sequels ever (#46) but has also surpassed box office giants like "Thor: Love and Thunder" and "Spider-Man 3". It stands just short of "The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers" but trails behind "Despicable Me 4" and "Despicable Me 2".
