AceShowbiz - Alabama Barker apparently doesn't like it that her work is criticized. After launching the music video for her new single "Vogue", the daughter of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler was accused of removing negative comments on the visuals.
Shortly after the official MV was released via YouTube on Friday, December 13, the 18-year-old former reality TV star received various responses to the clip. While some of her listeners showered her with praise for her amazing work, others alleged that criticisms over the footage have been deleted.
In the comments section of the 2-minute music video, one in particular claimed, "Ok so her team is working overtime to delete all hate comments," adding a skeleton emoji. Similarly, another chimed in, "Negative comments are definitely being blocked."
Meanwhile, a third said, "I would rather listen to Rebecca Black's 'Friday' for eternity than hear this again," making a reference to the song that was deemed "among the worst songs ever made" by many. A fourth stated, "Alabama has that Ice Spice flow that absolutely no one wants to hear anymore." A few others, in the meantime, slammed Alabama for trying to sound like a black person.
In the visuals, Alabama features her loved ones, including father Travis and stepmom Kourtney Kardashian. The opening scene is a visual treat that sees Alabama making a dramatic entrance alongside "The Kardashians" series regular. The two are shown cruising in a limousine, sporting stylish shades and fanning $100 bills at the paparazzi before fleeing the scene, signaling the start of a high-energy music spectacle.
As the video transitions into a runway scene, Alabama takes to the catwalk adorned in a futuristic, skin-tight full-body suit, exuding confidence. She lip-syncs to the catchy chorus, "Pretty b***h, I'm in that mode/ Look like I'm fresh outta Vogue/ I never do what I'm told/ Back of the truck, it's just me and my hoes/ How b***hes mad 'cause I'm chose?" The energy continues to surge with her bold lyrics and dynamic performance.
Adding to the allure, Travis, the renowned Blink-182 drummer, makes a striking appearance on the runway. He walks solo, donning a half-unzipped jacket that flaunts his chest tattoos, coupled with black frames and an unyielding expression.
