Scheana Shay, of 'Vanderpump Rules' fame, recalls her younger years when she hung out with Reese Witherspoon's ex-husband, Ryan Phillippe, including a sleepover with the actor.

In a candid conversation on her "Scheananigans" podcast, the 39-year-old reality star reminisced about her nightlife adventures in Los Angeles approximately 17 years ago.
During these years, Shay and her roommate were frequent visitors to a local hotspot, Dan Tana's, where they would hang out with Jesse Bradford, Phillippe, and Breckin Meyer.
"I used to go to [Dan Tana's] on Thursday nights with my old roommate. She was dating Jesse Bradford, you know from Bring It On? Him, Ryan Phillippe, Breckin Meyer, they had this boys group and every Thursday they would do a boys dinner and then go out to the club. So we were like, well we're going to do a girls dinner since we were only invited to the club part," Shay recalled.
Shay also took this opportunity to clarify her relationship status with Phillippe during that period. "He was single during the times that we were all hanging out," she said. She made it clear that although they spent a lot of time together and even had a sleepover, their relationship remained firmly in the friend zone. "We did not hook up. No, we were just friends,†she emphasized.
To provide some context, around the time Shay and Phillippe were hanging out, he had recently ended his marriage with Reese Witherspoon. The "Cruel Intentions" actors, who met at Witherspoon's 21st birthday party in 1997 and married in 1999, divorced in 2006. They share two children, Ava, now 24, and Deacon, 20. Post-divorce, Phillippe dated model Alexis Knapp; they share a daughter, Kai, born in 2011.
For Shay, this was a period of burgeoning celebrity status as she navigated her reality TV career and high-profile friendships. She also previously opened up about other notable encounters, including a fling with musician John Mayer, which he denied.
