AceShowbiz - Sarah Michelle Gellar raised people's eyebrows in her new interview. In an awkward interview that went viral, the actress sparked rumors that she might have a beef with her "I Know What You Did Last Summer" co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt.
While speaking with Extra during a red carpet interview at her new TV show "Dexter: Original Sin" premiere, she was asked about the possibility of Jennifer making an appearance in the sequel of "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Sarah, who isn't involved in the next installment of the classic horror movie, appeared unhappy with the question.
"I have nothing to do with that," Sarah said. Smiling, the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" star quickly ended the interview and walked off.
Upon catching wind of the interview, fans took to social media to share their two cents on the matter. "Look at her face!! She hates her so bad! Sksksksk," an Internet user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Echoing the sentiment, another pointed out, "seems so shady LOL," while one other added, "Omg that face."
"I felt the energy," someone noted. "Omg that face she did was so sassy lmao is there beef between them," a user wondered, with another said, "Damn, that energy shifted." One user, meanwhile, liked the interview to the Mariah Carey's infamous "I don't know her" dig towards Jennifer Lopez.
Back to Sarah, she admitted in another interview that she once got into a "little bit" of trouble after sharing a photo from the set of the upcoming "I Know What You Did Last Summer" reboot. "You would think that being in my position, I know what rules are on sets when they say closed sets, you know," she joked during her appearance in the Tuesday, December 10 episode of "Live with Kelly and Mark".
"So my husband's starring in the movie and it was Thanksgiving so I took our kids to Australia to go out there and visit him," she continued, referring to Freddie Prinze Jr., who reprises his character in the upcoming flick. "And I was sitting on set and I was like, 'Oh what a great picture,' and then I posted it."
"I found out that they hadn't posted any pictures from the set yet - hadn't announced they started filming," she explained. "That was an 'Oops! My bad!' "
