AceShowbiz - Dave Grohl has stepped out for the first time since rumors about his band's upcoming tour circulated online. After Foo Fighters allegedly canceled their tour plans, the lead singer of the rock band looked somber in a new sighting.
On Wednesday, December 11, the 55-year-old musician was out and about in Los Angeles, California. In a series of pictures that made their rounds online, it could be seen that he was making a stop at a gas station. He did not appear to be in a good mood, showing a stoic facial expression without a smile on his face.
Dave was photographed pumping gas for his luxury black car during the solo outing. One of the photos, meanwhile, captured him grabbing coffee and some packs of cigarettes at a nearby store. He was pictured carrying a cup of hot drink, cigarette packs and a black wallet as he made his way into his car.
For the relaxing outing on the sunny day, Dave opted to wear a casual ensemble. He sported a long-sleeved black tee and a pair of green shorts. He completed the look with a pair of yellow-and-white Vans sneakers as well as clear glasses.
Not stopping there, Dave, who flaunted a thick mustache and full gray beard, also had another pair of glasses that he tucked in his top. Ditching his wedding ring, he covered part of his short hair with a black hat that featured graphics on its front side.
The new sighting came shortly after it was said that Foo Fighters had canceled their next tour, which was set to be held in 2025. Recently, Ben Barbaud, who is the founder and director of France's largest music festival Hellfest, revealed the rock band's shocking decision.
Speaking to Le Parisien, Ben said about booking Muse, "They were offered to me on a platter. A month ago, I was offered to program them with a handful of other European festivals. Foo Fighters having cancelled their summer tour, Muse was called in as reinforcements," which was translated from France.
"I accepted because I was missing a headliner on Friday and because the Hellfest audience is more and more open. With age, I too have matured, I am less sectarian," he continued.
