The actor known for his roles on 'Who's the Boss?' and 'Cujo' reveals that he has been hospitalized and has undergone a major surgery following an accident on Thanksgiving night.

AceShowbiz - On Thanksgiving night, Thursday, November 28, Danny Pintauro was involved in a scooter accident where he was forced to choose between a van and a pylon. While he initially brushed off the injuries, he began experiencing severe chest pains two days later.

A CAT scan, x-ray and bloodwork revealed an infection in his bloodstream due to a tear in his stomach lining. The actor described the pain as "the most excruciating pain [he's] ever felt in [his] whole life."

After emergency surgery, Pintauro reported that the tear has been repaired and the pain has subsided, but he remains intubated and unable to eat or drink for three days. He emphasized the importance of prompt medical attention, as "if [he] had waited any longer, [he] could have died."

Pintauro's acting career began at the age of seven with the film adaptation of Stephen King's "Cujo". He then gained notoriety as Jonathan Bower on the sitcom "Who's the Boss?". After leaving Hollywood in the 2010s, he returned to acting in 2022 with the Lifetime movie "A Country Christmas Harmony".

Pintauro expressed gratitude for his husband Wil Tabares, who drove him to the hospital and requested fans to keep him in their prayers for a speedy recovery.
