AceShowbiz - Joe Rogan discussed the wild rumors involving Sean "P. Diddy" Combs and Jamie Foxx in a new episode of his podcast, "The Joe Rogan Experience". Rogan addressed the speculations that the actor was hospitalized in 2023 for a mysterious illness after the disgraced hip-hop star poisoned him.
The claims emerged after Foxx made comments about Diddy during the filming of his upcoming Netflix special, "What Had Happened Was". In the podcast episode, which featured comedian guests Shane Gillis, Mark Normand and Ari Shaffir, Rogan said that Foxx's comments might not to be taken seriously.
"Jamie Foxx just recently said that P. Diddy poisoned him and that's why he got that stroke," Rogan said. "He talked about it on stage ... He talked about it on his Netflix special."
Normand then listed out the alleged crimes that Diddy committed, seemingly suggesting that it wasn't entirely impossible that the rumors were true. "Bro, I think there was some crazy s*** going on," he said. "I think murders, alleged murders. A bunch of people got pneumonia, a bunch of convenient people died of pneumonia." he said. "[Foxx] said, 'I didn't have a heart attack because of the vaccine, it was Diddy shutting me up.' "
Rogan additionally mentioned that according to a Daily Mail report, two audience members at Foxx's Netflix special taping reported hearing the actor saying that Diddy was responsible for his hospitalization. It was also said that the "Django Unchained" actor had contacted the FBI about the "I'll Be Missing You" rapper.
"It's possible, that's totally possible, but it's also possible he was explaining why he went to the hospital and he hasn't talked about it since," the podcast host shared. "We won't know until we see the actual Jamie Foxx Netflix special."
Earlier this year, Big Homie .CC, a celebrity security guard, claimed in an interview with Cam Capone News that Foxx was "poisoned" by Diddy. "I know [Combs] poisoned Jamie Foxx, and Jamie Foxx reported him to the FBI because of it… Jamie Foxx reported this man to the FBI because of this," Big Homie .CC said, adding that he heard Foxx talking about the matter with a client at two of his comedy show tapping.
Videographer Choke No Joke also made a similar account. "Jamie has a special coming out on Netflix called 'What Had Happened Was', and I went to the taping of it. It was three days taping. I went to the first show; I went to the last show," he revealed to Comedy Hype. According to Joke, Foxx said during the tapings that "Diddy was responsible for what happened to him, and [Foxx] is the one who called the FBI on [Diddy]."
A source close to Diddy, meanwhile, previously shut down the speculations. "There is no truth to Sean Combs putting Jamie Foxx in the hospital," the insider told Daily Mail at the time.
