AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner, known for her role in "13 Going on 30", recently shared her makeup mishaps during an appearance on the "Lipstick on the Rim" podcast. When asked about the worst beauty advice she has received, Garner jokingly confessed that she was her own worst advice giver.
Garner explained that during college, she often wore pancake makeup, which is typically used in theater to make faces visible from a distance. However, in regular lighting, the thick makeup looked extreme. She admitted that she had a "white circle" on her face, resembling the comedic character Raggedy Ann.
An old photo posted on her Instagram showed Garner in full period costume, complete with ruffles and lace, her face covered in the bright white makeup.
Garner's poor makeup choices stemmed from her sneaking it on during homeroom as a teenager, since she was not allowed to wear it at home. She used a tackle box of stage makeup, which included pancake makeup and blush that she drew on.
Despite her makeup blunders, Garner joked that her skills as an adult have not improved much. She joked that she owns expensive brushes and contouring products, but if she used them, she would "just look bruised."
