AceShowbiz - Playboi Carti has found himself in hot water due to a recent allegation against him. The "All Red" rapper was deemed "corny" by many social media users for allegedly sending his crew to attack fans.
On Sunday, November 17, the 29-year-old hip-hop artist became a hot topic on X, formerly known as Twitter. Many X users criticized him for what his people allegedly did to a male fan and his girlfriend. Some of them called him "corny," with one writing, "Carti the most cringe corny and over rated artist of this generation."
Another slammed the rapper, "Carti literally posted that on his story for the entire world to see, why is he mad that fans want him to sign it, bro YOU gave us the picture." A third stated, "What's funny and dumb about this is...Carti definitely forgot he posted that picture and he probably thought they was hackin him so he was treating them like leakers."
A fourth penned, "carti a lame for that, n***a always on some weird s**t cant just act normal for once." A fifth, meanwhile, defended Carti, "buddy weird.. imagine taking time out of your day printing a picture of another man in his sassy form, then try to hand it to him. What did you honestly think you were going to accomplish? Lol seriously."
The users were replying to a tweet featuring a video of the male fan and his flame. In the clip, he said, "About 10 minutes ago, Playboi Carti's crew jumped on me and my girlfriend all because I went and asked him to sign my picture. He took my picture, and he told his gang, 'Go get his phone for me.' "
The fan went on to recall, "Me and my girlfriend, they chased us down, and what I did is I gave them my girlfriend's phone because I have the video of him snatching [the picture] and getting angry."
Aside from the footage, the tweet also included a photo that was seemingly a screenshot of Carti's Instagram Story post, which has been deleted. It could be seen that someone was holding a picture of the spitter, whose long hair was braided. He was captured pouting his lips, going shirtless and wearing layers of white necklaces.
