AceShowbiz - Frankie Muniz had an accident in his latest car race. Following his NASCAR Xfinity Series debut earlier this year, the actor-turned-car race driver took a "hard hit" on Friday, November 8 during Craftsman Truck Series Championship.
Journalist Noah Lewis said Muniz shared a video of the former child star limping away from the scene. He was assisted into an ambulance for medical evaluation.
Despite his apparent injury, Muniz assured fans that he's fine. "I'm okay, yeah. Unfortunate," he told reporters after the race. He described the race as a positive experience, noting that he made passes and gained valuable track knowledge.
"I felt like got a good opportunity to run with some guys, I made some passes. Lost a few spots on restarts, then went back out and passed them again. So it was good for me to figure out how to get by people, you know I haven’t really gotten to do that much this year so that was really positive."
Despite the crash, he is ready to return for NASCAR's next season. Following his promotion to full-time driver for the Reaume Brothers Racing team's 2025 season, he is eager to take the No. 33 Ford F-150 onto the track in February.
"I'm so grateful for my team," Muniz said. "And I'm so excited for next season. This year wasn't what we had hoped, but this proved that I can race with guys, I can pass here. We're gonna be better next year, and I've got the whole off-season to prepare."
Muniz announced his NASCAR debut last January, expressing his childhood dream to pursue racing.
"I look forward to not only demonstrating my ability on the track and just how serious I am in progressing in my racing career but also showing my son and family what it is to chase your dreams and reinvent yourself," the "Malcolm in the Middle" star said.
