The host of the "BFFs" podcast alleged that Zach Bryan's controlling behavior and emotional manipulation "ruined" her 2024 Golden Globes experience. She claimed her then-boyfriend disapproved of her sheer gown, "He said he didn't want to date someone that presents themselves that way."

After she posted pictures from the red carpet, the country musician reportedly unfollowed her on social media and demanded that she delete the pictures she posted on Instagram despite calling her "beautiful" on the platform and reposting her photos on his social media stories.

Calling his behavior "f***ing crazy," the host recalled, "He [was], like, happy in the beginning then all of a sudden, it turns to, 'I can't believe you're wearing this … blah blah blah blah.' … He makes me believe that I have to change my image to to keep up with his or something."

"He ruined my night," she claimed. "Everything good, anything good I did for me, he made sure to ruin it for me. He ruined my birthday, he ruined my tour, he ruined the Golden Globes. Anything Brianna did for Brianna, he had to ruin it."

Bryan's representatives have not yet commented on the allegations.

LaPaglia and Bryan went public with their relationship in July 2023 and dated for over a year before splitting in October. She claimed he offered multi-million dollar hush money to keep details of their relationship private following their breakup.
