AceShowbiz - Madonna has publicly expressed her apparent disappointment upon learning that Donald Trump won the presidential election. The "Material Girl" hitmaker blatantly called the politician "rapist" in a social media rant.
On Thursday, November 7, the 66-year-old Queen of Pop got things off her chest about Donald Trump becoming the president of the United States again. Making use of Instagram Stories, she voiced her confusion about people choosing him instead of Kamala Harris.
Madonna uploaded a new selfie, in which she showed a stoic facial expression while looking straight at the camera. She was rocking a black tank top and layers of gold necklaces. In addition, her shoulder-length blonde locks were let loose and parted in the middle.
Over the snap, the "Vogue" hitmaker simply wrote, "Trying to get my head around why a convicted felon, rapist, Bigot was chosen to lead our country because he's good for the economy?"
Earlier that day, Madonna revealed that she "stuffed her face" with an anti-Trump cake. On the same social media platform, she released a picture of a whole cake that came with colorful decorations as well as red cherries. On top of it, a message read, "F**K TRUMP."
Accompanying the never-before-seen snap, Madonna penned, "Stuffed my face with this cake last night!" She went on to thank chef Pia Hambour for the cake, writing, "Thanks to @pia_pressure_."
The Stories came after Donald Trump was announced as the winner of the 2024 presidential election against Vice President Kamala. On Election Day, Madonna was caught on camera hitting the polls with her daughter Lourdes Leon.
After casting her vote, Madonna took to Instagram Story to share that she and her model/singer daughter had voted. Along with a photo capturing the model and daughter duo, Madonna voiced her support for Kamala, "We Voted.!!! Going to go home and pray now !! @kamalaharris for President ! Save our country."
