AceShowbiz - Kevin Smith, known for his resonant films and place in cinematic history, recently experienced a fanboy moment at New York Comic Con. While taking photos with his fans and co-star Jason Mewes, Smith became overwhelmed with excitement upon meeting Thanos actor Josh Brolin.
Smith shared his encounter on Instagram, captioning a photo of him and Brolin, "Let's be honest, most of us would probably have that same expression if we had the pleasure of meeting the man who famously portrays the Mad Titan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe."
Brolin's presence at the convention left Smith in awe. He explained, "I was backstage telling [Jason Mewes] that celebrities don't interest me when I saw [Josh Brolin] and instantly rushed him. There are famous people, and then there's Thanos, man!"
Despite his encounters with other major stars, Smith emphasized that Brolin's presence was particularly significant. He recalled friendships with legends like Stan Lee and Alan Rickman. Smith expressed hope that his encounter with Brolin could blossom into a friendship or even a collaboration.
Even if they don't work together, Smith expressed his desire for their Comic Con run-in to mark the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Marvel fans can stream all of Brolin's MCU appearances as Thanos by streaming the Marvel movies in order with a Disney+ subscription.
