AceShowbiz - Brad Pitt shocked attendees at the F1 Grand Prix in Mexico on Saturday, October 26 by making a surprise appearance. Clad in a white racing jumpsuit, the 60-year-old actor filmed scenes for his upcoming movie, "F1".
After the qualifying races, a section of the track was closed off for the film crew to shoot additional footage. Pitt emerged from his car, removed his helmet, and waved to the cheering crowd.
The sports action drama, which began production in July 2023, revolves around Sonny Hayes (Pitt), a retired Formula One driver who returns to the sport to mentor a young prodigy. The film also stars Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon and Damson Idris.
Pitt has praised the project, calling it "the best time of my life." He has expressed gratitude to the F1 teams, FIA, and race promoters for their cooperation in making the film authentic.
Despite some initial criticism of the movie's title, it has been filmed at various F1 races, including those in Hungary, Belgium, and Las Vegas. Production is expected to continue until the Abu Dhabi race in December.
Fans shared footage of Pitt celebrating in Mexico City as if he had won the race, further fueling excitement for the film's release in June 2025.
