The actor, who was married to Natasha Richardson from 1994 until her untimely death in 2009, had a two-year relationship with Freya St. Johnston after Richardson's passing. Prior to meeting Richardson, Neeson dated actresses such as Barbra Streisand, Brooke Shields and Helen Mirren.

Neeson expressed fond memories of his relationship with Helen Mirren, recalling a bullfight they attended together in Southwest France. However, the actor maintains that he is now more focused on his sons, Micheal, 29, and Daniel, 28, whom he had with Richardson. The trio spends quality time together, watching movies and enjoying simple activities.

Aside from his family, Neeson keeps busy with work and his love for reading. He tries to schedule two months off between projects and enjoys sleeping late, devouring Patricia Cornwell mysteries and Nordic noir books.

Despite his solitude, Neeson remains grateful for his blessings. "I'm incredibly lucky," he says. "I never, ever forget that."

Fifteen years after Richardson's death, Neeson believes she would be proud of the family they have become. "I think Natasha would be proud," he said. "I hope so."

Neeson has hinted at romantic feelings for an unnamed Australian woman while filming in Melbourne in 2022, but the woman was taken at the time. The actor has not been publicly linked to anyone since his relationship with Freya St. Johnston ended over a decade ago.
