AceShowbiz - Tyler, the Creator unveils his latest single, "Noid", alongside a music video and teases his upcoming album, "Chromakopia", marking his first in three years since the Grammy-winning "Call Me If You Get Lost".
Tyler, the Creator has embarked on a new musical chapter with the release of his latest song, "Noid." True to its title, the track explores themes of paranoia and unease, set against a garage rock-inspired beat reminiscent of Black Sabbath. The song's infectious hook, "Para- paranoia/Feel it in my aura/Living between cameras and recorders," builds anticipation for a blistering verse where Tyler raps about his heightened awareness and fear. Notably, the track incorporates a sample from Zambian musician Paul Ngozi.
Accompanying the single is a music video directed by Tyler himself. The visuals are unsettling, featuring a sepia-toned surrealism, strange masks, and a cameo by comedian Ayo Edebiri. Edebiri portrays a crazed fan who confronts Tyler on the street, her actions triggering a spiral of paranoia in the artist.
"Noid" is the latest glimpse into Tyler, the Creator's upcoming album, 'Chromakopia,' set for release on October 28. The album's title and release date were revealed just days ago, along with a teaser video and another new track titled "St. Chroma."
In addition to his musical endeavors, Tyler is preparing for the highly anticipated return of Camp Flog Gnaw in 2024. The festival will feature a diverse lineup headlined by Tyler himself, along with a roster of renowned artists such as Andre 3000, Kaytranada and Playboi Carti.
