AceShowbiz - Lenny Kravitz, the iconic rock star, kicked off his five-day residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas with a stylish performance that ignited the crowd. Dressed in his signature flared jeans, oversized sunglasses, and shimmering tank top, Kravitz exuded energy as he performed both classic hits and tracks from his latest album, "Blue Electric Light."
The residency serves as a celebration of life, music, love, and rock 'n' roll, according to Kravitz. He views it as an ideal starting point for his international "Blue Electric Light Tour", scheduled to launch in February. Despite the physical demands of a residency, Kravitz maintains his rigorous fitness routine, ensuring he's ready for the intense performances. "It's part of life - it's not even a question," Kravitz said of his training regimen.
Prior to the residency, Kravitz tested out his new material as a headliner at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show in London. For him, the physicality of such performances poses no significant challenge due to his commitment to fitness. "I train five days a week, I lift weights, I do cardio, I eat well, I try to rest well when I can," he explained.
"Blue Electric Light" marks Kravitz's 12th studio album and stays true to his tendency to explore different tones and sonic qualities with each body of work. Inspired by his early musical influences, the album serves as a prequel to his debut album, "Let Love Rule".
