AceShowbiz - Disney+ and Hulu have released the official trailer for "Goosebumps: The Vanishing," a supernatural mystery series inspired by the beloved books of R.L. Stine.
In the electrifying trailer debuted at New York Comic Con, David Schwimmer stars as Anthony Brewer, a divorced father who becomes possessed by a sinister entity after unearthing an old mystery. As twins Cece (Jayden Bartels) and Devin (Sam McCarthy) visit their father for the summer, they uncover dark secrets that trigger a chain of events, unleashing a supernatural threat upon New York City.
The eight-episode season follows the Brewer family as they investigate the disappearance of four teenagers in 1994. Anthony, once a botany professor, has become obsessed with unraveling the mystery, leading him to uncover a symbiotic organism that infects him. Meanwhile, Cece and Devin must confront their possessed father and the growing number of missing children.
The series draws inspiration from Stine's iconic books, including "Stay Out of the Basement," "The Haunted Car," and "Welcome to Camp Nightmare." Fans will recognize familiar elements as the twins and their friends navigate the chilling tale of the teenagers.
