AceShowbiz - Liam Payne's girlfriend Kate Cassidy posted a heartfelt message about the late singer before his devastating death. Earlier this week, the model took to her TikTok account to share several photos taken from their trip in Argentina.

In one of the snaps, Liam could be seen riding a horse with beautiful scenery in the background. Over the picture, Kate showed love for the One Direction member as she wrote, "I am very grateful for the simple things in life." She also added love emojis.

Fans left lovely messages underneath the post at the time. "protect Liam...the fandom IS going wild.I can' t do this anymore. Lovely greets from Germany," one said. Another commented, "glad you're having a great time in argentina."

Kate's post came four days before Liam passed away on Wednesday, October 16 after falling from the third floor of his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. According to local law enforcement per "Good Morning America", the 31-year-old star's body was found in the inner courtyard of the hotel, where he was pronounced dead.

After spending two weeks in Argentina together, Kate posted a TikTok video on Monday that she's traveling back to her home state of Florida sans the singer. She revealed in the clip that they were only supposed to be in Argentina for "five days," explaining that she hated to be in one place for too long and "needed to go home."

The 25-year-old seemed to be in good spirits about returning to the United States. The blonde beauty shared to her followers that she was "happy" and "relieved" to be back in Florida.

Kate, who is a fan of One Direction, and Liam dated for almost two years. "I am the best manifester, and I'm going to show you why," she said in a 2023 TikTok. "I drew this when I was 10 years old." she added while holding up a popsicle stick with a drawing of a brunette man in a white shirt and jeans, labeled "Liam."

"It's a popsicle stick-I don't know why-of Liam," she explained. She then proudly shared fractions of her life with the musician "10 years later."
