AceShowbiz - Cher allegedly is trying to win her children's hearts back. It has been reported that the "DJ Play a Christmas Song" hitmaker is begging her kids for forgiveness amid drama with Alexander "AE" Edwards.

On Tuesday, October 15, a source spilled that the 78-year-old legendary singer is attempting to "make peace" with her estranged kids, Chaz Bono and Elijah Blue Allman. According to the source, she is "in a desperate bid to win back their affections."

Speaking to In Touch, the source said, "Cher says she's doing this because she misses them, but everyone suspects she wants to make peace because she's worried her relationship with A.E. won't last and she doesn't want to face the end of her life totally alone."

The insider went on to explain, "They don't trust his intentions, and that has caused some friction, so Cher would never want to admit to them that there's trouble brewing between her and A.E.." The insider also shared, "Cher was furious, and they got into a big fight."

"But once Cher calmed down, she went into major damage control mode," the insider continued. "Cher now has a chance to make peace with her sons. But she's not out of the woods with them yet!"

The revelation came one day after it was said that Cher and AE are "spending more time apart." On Monday, October 14, an informant told the same media outlet, "She's cooped up in that mansion of hers in Malibu and keeping to herself after all that drama with Elijah that just got settled, but she's still testy and tired and demanding as hell, questioning his every move. This is paranoia to A.E. and he grumbles she's not giving him room to breathe."

AE allegedly found Cher's behavior "overbearing." In the meantime, she reportedly "wonders if he was really that young prince that she thought he was." The informant shared, "She needs more from him and has been acting needy and he's pulling away."

"People are whispering they're fizzling out, which is inevitable," the informant added. "The feeling among their friends is, they never really were a well-suited couple for the long term even if she does a good job dragging him out to silence the rumors now and then."

In contrast, Cher and AE recently looked smitten with each other at an event, seemingly showing that there is no trouble in paradise. When making a glamorous entrance at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2024, the two packed on the PDA with him affectionately kissing her on the cheek.
