AceShowbiz - Aubrey Plaza has entertained social media users with her behavior at a recent basketball game. During the WNBA finals, the former "Parks and Recreation" star pretended to be reading a book.
On Thursday, October 10, the 40-year-old actress went to a stadium to watch the Game 1 of the Minnesota Lynx and New York Liberty WNBA finals. When the camera zoomed in on her during the match, she was sitting down on her courtside seat.
However, Aubrey caught the attention of many other attendees as she was spotted reading a book. Instead of paying attention to what happened on the court, the "Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre" actress appeared so focused on the book.
The hilarious moment was documented in video, which was uploaded on X, formerly known as Twitter. In the short clip, it could be seen that she was flipping the pages when she realized that she was featured on the big screen. Shocked, she stared at the camera for a few seconds before reading again.
Later on, Aubrey was approached by Ellie the Elephant, the Liberty's mascot. The mascot appeared to have tried to distract her from reading the book. The mascot's attempt was successful as she stopped reading and put the book on her lap.
The mascot went on to Aubrey to take a picture together. When she rested her elbow on her thigh and placed her chin on her hand, the mascot sweetly grabbed her face and planted a kiss on her cheek. It prompted her to flash her radiant big smile.
It did not take long for the video on X to be flooded with online responses from social media users. In the replies section, one in particular wrote, "This is the most Aubrey plaza thing ever." Another gushed, "She knew where the camera was and looked right into it. Pro move!" A third chimed in, "Hahaha she is great lol."
