AceShowbiz - Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker landed in hot water over their Halloween decorations. The couple was slammed online after they took to social media to share a picture of their racy deco for the spooky season.
Shared on Friday, October 4, the snaps featured a glimpse of the reality TV star and the Blink-182 drummer's life, including their preparation to welcome Halloween. A picture saw pumpkins being placed in a staircase in front of their mansion, while another featured inflatable balloons of a couple of skeletons in a rather compromising position.
Kourtney added some other random photos. "Hello October," so the Poosh founder wrote in the caption.
Upon catching wind of the carousel pictures, fans quickly shared their opinion, especially on the skeleton decoration. "As a mother of four kids I find it disgusting you would do that to those inflatables," one user commented.
"'That Skeleton position? Really?" another asked. Someone else added sarcastically. "This is a mother. Nice roll(sic) model."
Another comment read, "What a way to decorate for the kids." One other, meanwhile, called the skeletons "a little tacky."
Kourtney isn't a stranger to criticism regarding her parenting. Despite the backlash, the Lemme founder shared that she would do "what feels natural and instinctual to me" when it comes to her child.
"As a mother, I like to do what feels natural and instinctual to me. And that's for me what it is," she said in a recent episode of "The Skinny Confidential" podcast after admitting that she and Travis both sleep with Rocky in the bed with them.
Of her son Mason, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick, Kourtney added, "I think every person's different and every child is different. My oldest son slept with me till he was 7 and just naturally wanted to sleep. I mean also part of it [is] like at a certain time I would put him to bed in his room and then he would come to my room."
She later talked about her daughter Penelope. "That's what my daughter does. She comes in," she continued. "And then at 7, he just stopped and he was like, 'I'm done with you, I sleep in my own room.' And then my daughter slept with me pretty much till she was 11."
