AceShowbiz - After a seven-month romance that began in February, reality star Kristin Cavallari and TikToker Mark Estes have amicably ended their relationship. News of their split made headlines as both parties spoke out, emphasizing mutual respect and love, despite their decision to part ways.
"Mark has immense love and respect for Kristin and their time together," the Montana Boyz TikTok star's rep said in a statement on Wednesday, October 2. "He's focused on the future of his business and his project in development with Vice Studios."
Cavallari addressed the breakup on her "Let's Be Honest" podcast, revealing that she was the one who chose to end things. She explained, "I broke up with Mark because I just know long term it's not right, and it's not because of love lost or something bad happened." She further clarified that no cheating or cruelty was involved, and their separation was extremely cordial. According to Cavallari, "He's been the best boyfriend I've ever had."
One of the significant factors in their breakup was the 13-year age gap between Cavallari, 37, and Estes, 24. Although she had been aware of their age difference, it started to feel more pronounced over time. Cavallari shared, "I just know long term he needs to experience life. He's young ... I started to feel the age a little bit with life experience."
In the midst of public scrutiny regarding their age difference, Cavallari had previously defended their relationship. She mentioned in a statement, "I understand what it looks like from the outside world of, like, yeah, I'm dating a 24-year-old, but no one in my life has been like, 'This is weird.' Everyone's like, 'I get it. It makes sense.' "
Despite the breakup, Cavallari has no regrets about her relationship with Estes. She stated, "I know that one day he will look back and he will understand it. And I actually think one day he will thank me. I don't regret anything. I don't regret going public with him. I don't regret introducing him to my kids."
Both Cavallari and Estes have expressed the desire to remain in each other's lives in some capacity. Cavallari highlighted this sentiment by saying, "I like being friends with my exes, and Mark really is someone that I would really love to have in my life in some capacity because I really do care about him."
As they move forward separately, both individuals remain focused on their respective futures. Estes, dedicated to his business and upcoming project with Vice Studios, and Cavallari, committed to her children and her ventures, continue to hold fond memories of their time together.
